About IMAST
What is IMAST?
The International Meeting on Advanced Spinal Techniques (IMAST), sponsored by the Scoliosis Research Society, provides an international scientific forum for spine professionals to stay up-to-date on emerging new technologies and techniques. For three days, spine surgeons and other allied health professionals from around the world discuss, debate and demonstrate recent advances in spine surgery.
Who can attend IMAST?
IMAST invites those who include spinal surgery techniques or technology in their profession, including spine surgeons (both orthopaedic and neurological surgeons), Residents, Fellows, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Engineers and Company Personnel.
What language is spoken at IMAST?
Presentations and course materials will be provided in English.
Where is IMAST?
The 18th IMAST will be held at the Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Abstracts
Where do I submit my abstract?
Abstracts must be submitted to the IMAST meeting online. The online abstract submission site opens November 1, 2010.
What is the deadline to submit an abstract?
The deadline to submit an abstract is February 1, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Only abstracts submitted on-line by the deadline will be considered. IMAST does not accept late-breaking abstracts.
Exhibitors
How do I get a copy of the exhibit prospectus?
The IMAST Exhibit Prospectus and 2011 Corporate Partners Program is now available online. If you would like a copy mailed to you, or if you have any questions, contact Megan Kelley at mkelley@srs.org.
Registration
How do I register for IMAST?
Online registration for the 18th IMAST will open on November 1, 2010. Both an online option will be available as well as a PDF form that may be completed and either mailed or faxed to the SRS office.
Housing
Where do I reserve housing? What is the room rate?
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Bella Sky Comwell for IMAST delegates at a group rate of €137 standard room, single occupancy; €164 standard room, double occupancy; €167 deluxe room, single occupancy; €194 deluxe room, double occupancy. These rates are subject to local/provincial taxes in effect at the time of the meeting and may be available before and after the meeting dates, subject to availability.
