Scoliosis Research Society (SRS)
An International Organization Dedicated to the Education, Research and Treatment of Spinal Deformity
Our Mission is to Foster Optimal Care for All Patients with Spinal Deformities
The Scoliosis Research Society will again be honored by MLB Fox Sports announcer Ken Rosenthal. Rosenthal has teamed up with Bow Tie Cause and throughout the past two MLB seasons, Ken has sported over 25 different Bowties raising awareness for various charities, including SRS.
Ken will wear the SRS bowtie on Saturday, June 8 while announcing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim verses the Boston Red Sox MLB game airing on Fox Sports. Rosenthal will wear the bow tie in honor of his daughter Sarah, who underwent spinal surgery, and out of gratitude to SRS member and friend Lloyd Hey, MD who perform his daughter's surgery. The Scoliosis Research Society provides information on these web pages regarding research and links as a public service. The SRS believes that patients should contact their treating physician about the relevance of any information listed on the site prior to proceeding with any particular treatment. Just as no two individuals are exactly alike, no two patients with a spinal deformity are the same. Therefore, your spinal deformity surgeon will be the most important source of information about the management of your particular spinal problem.
