The Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) would like to invite members and non-members to participate in the Federation of Spine Associations Specialty Day on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Venetian/Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.  Specialty Day is held in conjunction with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) 2015 Annual Meeting taking place March 24-28 in Las Vegas, NV, USA

Specialty Day is a day set aside for scientific programs presented by organizations that are members of the Board of Specialty Societies (BOS). It is a day that is dedicated to educational programming created by orthopaedic specialty societies and provides the opportunity to showcase new development, exchange information and interact with peers in the orthopaedic community.

The Federation of Spine Associations is comprised of the American Spinal Injury Association, Cervical Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society and the Scoliosis Research Society, and will provide a full day of education and programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education credits for physicians.

Educational Objectives:

Hot Topic: Special lunch time programming will focus on patient & staff safety.  Presentations will include radiation exposure in spine surgery, spinal cord injury safety and prevention efforts, and improving patient safety during the management of spine trauma.

Bring your questions, ideas, and toughest cases!  Whatever you need to learn now, it’s all here with new energy and deeper connections to your colleagues and faculty.
