About Annual Meeting & Course

What is the Annual Meeting & Course?
The Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting & Course is a form for the realization of the Society's mission and goals, the improvement of patient care for those with spinal deformities. Presentations at the Annual Meeting & Course are given by leading experts in the field and have value for health care professionals who treat spinal deformities at all levels and in all ages. Over 100 papers will be presented on an array of topics, including adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, growing spine, kyphosis, adult deformity, trauma, neuromuscular scoliosis and tumors.

Who can attend the Annual Meeting & Course?
Presentations at the Annual Meeting & Course will have value for physicians and allied health personnel who treat spinal deformities at all levels and in all ages of patients. Medical students, residents, fellows and researchers with an interest in spinal deformities will also benefit from the materials presented.

What language is spoken at the Annual Meeting & Course?
Presentations and course materials will be provided in English.

Where do I submit my abstract?
Abstracts must be submitted to the Annual Meeting online. The online abstract submission site opens November 1, 2009 and closes on February 1, 2010 at 11:59pm ET. View the Abstract tab of this website for complete details.

What is the deadline to submit an abstract?
The deadline to submit an abstract is February 1, 2010 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. Only abstracts submitted on-line by the deadline are considered, no exceptions will be made.

Registration

How do I register for the Annual Meeting & Course?
Registration for the 46th Annual Meeting & Course will open on April 15, 2011.

Both online registration and PDF forms will be available. Mail completed PDF forms to the SRS office at 555 East Wells Street, Suite 1100, Milwaukee, WI 53202 or Fax to 414-276-3349.

Housing

Where do I reserve housing? What is the room rate?
The hotel block will open for reservations on May 15, 2011.
If you would like to reserve rooms within the SRS hotel block, please visit the housing tab. Complete housing information, including rates, can be found in the preliminary program.

Is there a Conference Headquarters Hotel?
Yes, the 46th Annual Meeting & Course will be held at the Galt House Hotel & Suites. This is also the location of the SRS reserved block of hotel rooms.
