Is Virtual IMAST a live event?
Virtual IMAST is both a live event and self-paced course with enduring materials. Pre-recorded content will be released Monday, July 6 to be viewed at the learner’s preferred pace. The content released on July 6 includes narrated slides from the presenters, E-Posters, and Industry-supported workshops. Learners can also begin to submit questions and engage in conversation using the in-course discussion boards. The live presentations from faculty and live discussion, where participants can ask questions, will follow on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11. During the live event, IMAST faculty will be presenting four sessions. Learners will be able to access all recorded content, including the recorded live presentations, as well as on-going additions through December 31, 2020.

How can I ask questions of presenters?
Learners will be able to leave questions for presenters in the in-course discussion boards for asynchronous communication as well as inquire live during the live sessions in July and August. We encourage learners who are interested in a more real time experience to participate in the live discussions.
Is CME available for Virtual IMAST?
Yes, CME is available with the $100 CME Certificate option. The CME option can be purchased at any time during the course period. Simply enroll in the course selecting the "With CME Certificate" option and pay the $100 fee. You will be able to access your certificate within the course. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
If I register for IMAST without the CME add-on can I add it later?
The CME add-on can be purchased at any time through December 31, 2020. Simply re-enroll in the course indicating the "With CME Certificate" option, pay the $100 fee, and access your CME certificate within the course.
What is the registration deadline?
There is no deadline to register for IMAST; however, IMAST content will only be available through December 31, 2020.
How do I get my CME certificate?
To download your CME certificate click on the IMAST course and select “Awards” from the navigation bar near the top of the page. If you have earned CME credit, you will be able download your automatically tallied certificate in the Awards section. CME certificates will not be mailed or emailed. The online certificate access is the only source for this documentation. SRS asks that all IMAST CME certificates be claimed no later than December 31, 2020.
Does Virtual IMAST count towards my SRS Membership meeting attendance requirement?
Yes, participation in virtual IMAST will count towards your SRS Membership meeting attendance requirement. In order for it to count, you must review all virtual IMAST content that is offered.
How long will I be able to access IMAST content?
All IMAST content will be available through December 31, 2020.
Where do I login to view the Virtual IMAST content?
Sign in using your SRS login details to access all SRS online courses that you are enrolled in. Once you are logged in, select IMAST to access IMAST content.
What technology do I need to participate in virtual IMAST?
You can access IMAST via any electronic device with an internet connection and with a screen to view presentations (i.e. Computer, tablet, smart phone).
What is IMAST?
The International Meeting on Advanced Spinal Techniques (IMAST), sponsored by the Scoliosis Research Society, provides a scientific forum for spine professionals to stay up-to-date on emerging new technologies and techniques. Spine surgeons and other allied health professionals from around the world discuss, debate, and demonstrate recent advances in spine surgery.
Who can attend IMAST?
IMAST invites those who include spinal surgery techniques or technology in their profession, including spine surgeons (both orthopaedic and neurological surgeons), residents, fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, engineers, and company personnel.
What language will IMAST presentations be shared in?
Presentations and course materials will be provided in English.
