Regional Scientific Meeting

Featuring a theme of For the Region, By the Region, this meeting has a strong focus on abstract based presentations, along with two educational sessions. Submitted abstracts must have a senior author, and/or presenting author and a majority of co-authors from the regions where the meeting is held.

The Regional Scientific Meeting will include a “Best Of” paper session, which invites regional partner societies present their best papers from their annual meetings.
This meeting is open to anyone involved in the treatment of spinal deformities including surgeons, residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurses, and other allied health professionals and researchers.

The inaugural meeting is February 6-7, 2026, in Fukuoka, Japan. Future meetings will focus on other regions including Latin America in 2027.
