Society Announces 2026-2027 Board of Directors During the Society's Annual Meeting

The Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting spans a 61-year history of research, advocacy, education and innovation in the field of spinal research and surgery. It also marks the start of the new year of Board of Directors.  And on Saturday, October 10, at the society’s 61^st Annual Meeting, Dr. Ferran Pellise, MD, PhD accepted the role as president.

“Serving as President of SRS is an enormous honor and a source of great pride for me. As a non-U.S. member, I also see it as a reflection of the truly global nature of our Society and a recognition of the contributions made by members around the world. I am deeply grateful to my mentors, colleagues, and teammates whose work over many years has helped make this possible,” said Dr. Pellise. “During my presidency, my priority will be to implement our new Strategic Plan, with a particular focus on expanding opportunities for SRS members to participate in research. I look forward to working with our members, leadership, and staff to continue advancing knowledge and improving care for patients with spinal deformity worldwide.”
